Website & Service Terms

Important information regarding use of this website, appointment requests, mobile notary services, and client responsibilities.

Bluegrass Mobile Notary, LLC Last updated: August 8, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using this website, submitting an appointment request, or obtaining services from Bluegrass Mobile Notary, LLC, you agree to these Website & Service Terms to the extent applicable to your interaction with us.

These Terms may be updated periodically. The version posted on this website at the time of use will apply unless another written agreement governs a particular professional or business relationship.

2. Notarial Services Only

Bluegrass Mobile Notary provides professional notarial and related mobile signing services within the scope permitted by applicable law.

A notary public is not acting as your attorney, financial advisor, tax advisor, or document preparer unless separately licensed and expressly engaged in that capacity.

3. No Legal Advice

Bluegrass Mobile Notary does not provide legal advice, interpret legal documents, determine the legal effect of a document, recommend legal language, or advise a signer regarding whether a document should be signed.

Questions regarding legal rights, document content, legal consequences, or document preparation should be directed to an attorney or other qualified professional.

4. Appointment Requests Are Not Confirmed Bookings

Submission of an appointment request through this website does not create a confirmed appointment.

An appointment is confirmed only after Bluegrass Mobile Notary communicates acceptance of the requested date, time, location, scope, and expected pricing.

Availability may vary because of existing appointments, professional travel, service location, or other scheduling considerations.

5. Signer Presence and Participation

Each person whose signature is to be notarized must satisfy the requirements of the applicable notarial act, including any required personal appearance before the notary.

A signer must be willing to participate in the transaction and able to communicate sufficiently for the notary to perform the requested act in accordance with applicable law.

6. Identification

Signers are responsible for presenting identification acceptable for the requested notarial act.

If satisfactory identification cannot be established, the notarial act may not be performed even if an appointment has already begun.

7. Document Responsibility

Clients are responsible for providing the document intended to be signed and ensuring that the document is complete and ready for the requested notarial act.

Bluegrass Mobile Notary does not guarantee that a document is legally sufficient, correctly drafted, enforceable, recordable, or appropriate for the client's intended purpose.

Clients should not sign a document before the appointment when the requested notarial act requires the signature to occur in the presence of the notary.

8. Notarial Certificates

Bluegrass Mobile Notary will perform only notarial acts authorized by law and appropriate to the certificate presented or otherwise properly identified for the transaction.

The notary does not select a notarial act or certificate on behalf of a client when doing so would constitute unauthorized legal advice.

9. Witnesses

Certain documents may require one or more witnesses in addition to notarization.

Unless otherwise agreed in advance, the client is responsible for determining whether witnesses are required and for arranging qualified witnesses.

Witness availability should be discussed before the appointment when assistance may be needed.

10. Right to Decline or Stop a Notarial Act

Bluegrass Mobile Notary may decline, suspend, or stop an appointment when the requested act cannot lawfully or appropriately be completed.

Reasons may include, without limitation, insufficient identification, incomplete documents, inability to establish required participation or willingness, suspected fraud or coercion, safety concerns, requests outside the lawful scope of a notary, or other circumstances that prevent proper completion of the notarial act.

11. Pricing

Published prices are intended to provide clear guidance regarding commonly requested services but remain subject to confirmation before an appointment.

The expected fee may depend on factors including:

  • Appointment location
  • Number of notarial acts
  • Number of signers
  • Type and scope of appointment
  • Facility or access requirements
  • Special coordination needs
  • Professional-account arrangements

Whenever reasonably possible, expected pricing will be communicated before the appointment is confirmed.

12. Mobile and Travel Service

Bluegrass Mobile Notary provides mobile service in published service areas and may accept appointments outside those areas by individual quote.

Clients are responsible for providing accurate location information and informing Bluegrass Mobile Notary of material access requirements, facility restrictions, parking limitations, or similar circumstances that may affect the appointment.

13. Delays and Appointment Timing

Bluegrass Mobile Notary makes reasonable efforts to arrive at the agreed appointment time.

Mobile service may occasionally be affected by traffic, weather, travel disruption, facility access, prior appointments, or other circumstances outside reasonable control.

When a significant delay is anticipated, reasonable efforts will be made to communicate with the client.

14. Cancellations and Changes

Clients should notify Bluegrass Mobile Notary as soon as reasonably possible if an appointment must be cancelled, rescheduled, or materially changed.

Any cancellation, waiting-time, travel, or other fee applicable to a particular appointment will be communicated when relevant and, whenever reasonably possible, before the appointment is confirmed.

15. Professional Partners and Business Accounts

Law firms, title professionals, financial advisors, healthcare organizations, businesses, and other professional clients may establish separate service arrangements with Bluegrass Mobile Notary.

Written account terms, service agreements, pricing schedules, invoicing arrangements, or other negotiated terms will control when they conflict with these general Website & Service Terms.
